Portable Cattle Yard for LSD and FMD Vaccination

In 2022, there was an outbreak of two diseases in Indonesia, namely Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD) and Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD). Both diseases present a serious threat to the Indonesian cattle population. Due to the vast infection rates, the Indonesian Government (GOI) prioritizes delivering the vaccination program for livestock, especially cattle. With the logistic and infrastructure challenges at the smallholder level, LEP MLA  Indonesia provides support to the GOI vaccination program with the manufacture of portable yards that can equip the program delivery. MLA donate 6 portable cattle yards to Cianjur, Lampung Province, Riau Province, South Sulawesi Province, East Kalimantan Province, and West Sumatera Province.

This portable yard is easy to assemble, disassemble, and move to another place. It only needs 100 square meters to assemble this cattle yard. We also provide training for portable cattle yard recipients. We hope this cattle-yard makes it easier to vaccinate and boost vaccination coverage for FMD and FMD.
