Beef Utilization Workshop

Agro meat shop and It’s Nice To Meat You restaurant is located in Jalan Ciliwung No 9, Bandung, West Java. Owned and supplied by Citra Agro Buana Semesta (CABS), one of Australian live cattle importer in West Java. They have two cattle feedlot and one sheep feedlot in West Java. Their signature products are Tomahawk and Lamb Dorper, this restaurant and meat shop have been operating for a few months but they have succeed to get a special place in the heart of Bandung’s consumers.

As part of the LEP support, on 7 January 2020, working along with the MLA SEA Marketing team, we deliver a workshop about meat knowledge to around 30 retailers, hotels, and beef processors. David Carew, MLA Technical Specialist, based in Singapore office, provides a cutting demonstration on beef and lamb and an overview of Australian beef production. In these two days, David will be working to help the Agro Meat Shop’s team to work with them in product utilization and better presentation for their products.

Through this workshop, MLA/LEP is looking for interest or issues that beef importers or processors might be facing, and learn about the possible support around that to help them process and deliver Australian imported beef and locally processed Australian beef.
